Not for me. Way way overpriced and overrated. Food was okay nothing that special. We tried the seafood paella and the flavors just didn’t blend well. I’d skip this one.
Absolutely the best!. We dine her often and it never disappoints us. Wonderful food and even better service. Highly recommend it!
Overpriced tourist trap.. They don’t even try for authentic Spanish fare. Poor food and high prices.
Horrible excuse for ceviche. Overpriced. Disappointed. My husband is of Peruvian background as both his parents were born, raised, and spent much of their younger years in Lima. We were quite excited to see Ceviche (a Peruvian dish) on the menu. What was brought out by our waitress was by no means what one should call Ceviche. They served it immediately. Every good Peruvian knows that that means it had been sitting out. Ceviche must marinate in lime juice for around 20 minutes. Then it is served. They brought out fish that had been sitting out for God knows how long. It was served with crackers to boot! My mother-in-law would have died. I about died at the sight of it. If you’ve truly had good ceviche then you will absolutely know what I mean if you order it from this restaurant. The paella was all rice and hardly any seafood. We spent quite a bit of money and were quite disappointed. I will never go back. Overpriced and horrible excuse for South American cuisine.
Excellent food and excellent service. Good wine list too! We live local and this is our new favorite restaurant. We’ll definitely be back!
What a great surprise!. My wife and I made a last minute decision to have dinner at La Mancha last night and were quite surprised. We didn’t have reservations and despite the healthy crowd it was no problem since there’s lots of room inside. Inside was nicely decorated and clean. We started off with the pork with curry appetizer which was great! Our dinner was the snapper and filet mignon with bleu cheese, both were excellent! Absolutely would get everything again. The only knock for the night was the service which was somewhat spotty (which was still good to average). La Mancha is very similiar to Espana downtown in food quality and price (La Mancha is not a cheaper version) but Espana is a little more intimate with superb service. La Mancha is great for last minute dining out decisions, large parties, or families with smaller children. Either way you can’t go wrong with either place and Fernandina Beach is very lucky to have two great Spanish restaurants. We will certainly come back again and very much enjoyed our night out.
We visited La Mancha for our honeymoon. The wait staff was extraordinarily prompt and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure our dining pleasure. He was very energetic and friendly, making our dining experience exceptional. We enjoyed the ambiance, including the live Spanish guitar duo. The gambas mondragon tapas was excellent and the Carneiro Conde (rack of lamb) was tender and succulent. They seamlessly accounted for our special gluten-free dietary needs. We highly recommend La Mancha!!!
