We’ve given up on this place! When we first moved here in 2009, the food was great, drinks were reasonable, and the location was relaxing. Ever since they remodeled, the food has gone down hill and the prices have gone up. We gave it a chance this summer and were completely disappointed.
Touristy. Good view and kid friendly. Food is decent. Nothing terrible, however, nothing terrific. Just your average vacation spot. I wouldn’t recommend or say not to go there. If you want beach front dining you have very little options.
Wow. What a surprise. First off, any place with awesome cheese grits as a side is off to a great start. We had a party of 10 and everyone’s dinner was exceptional. Service was excellent. Una was our server. She could teach a course on service. Casual dinning – one of best meals this summer. Maybe avoid the Mac and cheese. Give yourself time to find a place to park – maybe ride your bike or walk. Ok, if you don’t want to get involved in restaurant wide activities, you may want to depart before 8:00 p.m. Excellent.
Good But not as good as it has been in the past The server is back up and help one another party had lobster and then a hard time finding a pair of crackers to open the lobster
We had lunch at Sliders. We had their lunch buffet. Good home style meat and vegetables.
Group of us stopped in for the Sliders Southern Soul lunch buffet, what a waste. If you’re going to try it, get there right at 11:00. We arrived at 1:00 and it looked like they put the buffet out at 11:00 and never went back. The fried chicken and greens were good, but the mac & cheese was a solid mass that had been under the heat lamps too long. Went back to get another piece of chicken and the bin was empty and was never refilled. Dessert was included in the price, but there was one lonely slice of dried out carrot cake on the buffet, we sliced it into fourths and shared it. Would have mentioned it to the server, but he disappeared after dropping our drinks off, no refills. Won’t be going back.
Sliders is your atypical beach bar that Florida is famous for, didn’t really have anything special about it, in fact it kinda is in need of a facelift. The food was just so so, seemed like maybe the chef was on vacation and a trainee was in that night. The peel and eat shrimp were sub par, funny taste? The grilled redfish was a little dry, the shrimp the same. Wifey’s steak was small and poorly seasoned, drenched in butter. Our salads were very small and wilted to a degree. The food didn’t taste bad, just not memorable. On average this place was just ‘Average’.
