Great locals place with awesome food!!!. AAA+
Finally made it to T-Ray’s. Lived here 17 years and never made it to T-Rays. Had breakfast there before Christmas and it was outstanding. Wasn’t crowded at 7:30 on a cold and rainy Friday but by the time we left, it was filling up. I will be back.
Compared to Tastes. We went to both to compare the two. We found Tastes much better! The burger was better and the main difference is the fries. T-Rays serves frozen steak fries and Tastes serves fresh cut fries. That’s a big deal for us. The plus for T-Rays is they serve other things such as fried chicken on Wednesday and shrimp on Friday. So if you’re looking for a place that specializes in burgers and fries, I’ll take Tastes over T-Rays every day!
Great burger joint!!! Kids had burgers, me and wife had special of day: the fried fish plate. Batter in fish was light and fluffy, and fish tasted great!! Sat outside under roof of old gas station’nn
Fried Shrimp Special. Had the fried shrimp special today. Large, local perfectly breaded and cooked! Hushpuppies, fries and slaw were also great.

A great local favorite. The lines get long after Noon but it is worth the wait. Today (Monday) my wife and I both had the daily special of fried fish e/e fries, hushpuppies and cole slaw. Awsome! Perfectly fried, delicious fish. The cole slaw has some spice in it (cumin?) that really makes it delicious. Decor is basic, service is, to a large degree, self service. Hey, it’s an old gas station – you go for the food not the decor.
