I was not impressed with the restaurant but especially displeased with the customer service. As someone who provides catering to 3-4 offices a week, I expect good customer service. From the time I started my order with the woman at the register I was less than impressed. My nephew tried to order a tuna slim with lettuce and pickles. The order taker informed us with couldn’t add anything to that sandwich. Now why she wouldn’t just say I can work it out for you but it may cost little more if that is ok is beyond me. We ended up getting him a totally tuna without tomatoes and cucumbers with a pickle on the side. I tried to order an unwrap with turkey and Swiss since she said I could add cheese but then informed me after trying to order Swiss and cheddar that they only carry Swiss?? So I ended up not even getting anything to eat since I was irritated with not being able to get what I wanted. I even asked her if I could add extra lettuce on a sandwich that has lettuce and she said no they can’t add anything to the sandwich. So I get my sis in law and nephew’s Tina sandwiches and get a whole dill pickle cut in half. Now the lady knew I wanted it for his sandwich so I’m thinking it would be cut up. Nope. I walk back to the counter to get a plastic knife and they informed me that don’t carry plastic ware. So I asked for them to cut it for me. They tell me they aren’t allowed to. I’m so annoyed at this point I decided if just go get my Swiss army and cut the damn thing myself. I tell the group I’m with about this and another lady gets up takes the pickle, has them cut the pickle and speaks to a manager about their awful customer service. One thing good that came out of this is that I know NOT to use them for catering my lunches. The bad thing is that not only will I not order if an office asks me to order from there but I will probably go around and talk about my horrible experience to all my rep friends and everyone else I know. There’s no kind of marketing like word of mouth. Maybe corporate should go back to the board on customer service and then retrain their people.
Awesome!. They are *AMAZING*. I had surgery and wasn’t able to make it up and down the steps or even stand for too long to cook. I found out they delivered – so happy I did. Super fast delivery, fresh food, really nice people. They close at 9pm (which I didn’t know). I called one night at 9:08 and they went ahead and did my delivery anyway. It’s really hard to beat that.
Italian Night Club. I think this is the best sub shop in Pensacola right now. I had a #9 and it was amazing! Yeah, the music is loud, but I liked it.
Not good. Went there for lunch and the food was not good at all.. Very bland and tasteless.. The guy that made my sandwiches was a jerk!!! Very to me when I asked for a sack to put my sandwiches in since it was a to go order. I will never go back..Even if the service had been good the food was awful!!! Don’t waste your money going here..
Ate lunch at Jimmy Johns, won’t go back. The lunch meat was pretty tasteless. The music was too loud to have a conversation.
Underwhelmed. Ate here for the first time last weekend. First off, I’ll say the bread on the sandwich was really good. And the chips were good, too. As for my sandwich, it was nothing special – maybe if it were heated (which I’m not sure if they do) it would have been better. It just seemed very plain and more like something I would make at home. I think that Firehouse has a much better sub. The whole scene was sort of chaotic and loud. I’ll probably try it again, but I hope it’s better.
The bread is perfect.. If you like sandwiches that are all bread (like subway), then go to subway. The bread at Jimmy John’s is light but not flaky, soft but not chewy, and it doesn’t overwhelm the other ingredients. I typically get an italian on wheat.
