So I don’t normally write reviews and especially not bad ones because I understand that some days are bad and some are good for restaurants. I work at Outback steakhouse so I understand how awful it is when it’s a crappy customer who only cares about themselves or someone who lies because they are being idiots. Anyways, we’ve been going to no.1 Chinese for years and it was one of my favorite places until yesterday when we ordered food from said place. We get through the crab rangoon and the egg rolls and now onto the entrees….I get half way through my entree and see something weird. Upon further inspection I realize that it is a baby roach cooked into the rice. I have pictures to prove it. I spent 5 hours convincing myself not to throw up. I’m not looking for a refund and I’m not being a jerk. That is the most disgusting thing that has ever happened to me when it comes to restaurants. I am calling the restaurant tomorrow to let them know that they may have a roach infestation because, where there is a baby, there are hundreds of others and mom and dad. I honestly feel bad because this will hurt their business but this situation should never happen to anyone again. I also attached a picture and it’s around the middle of the plate of rice.

Our go-to for takeout. I crave their hot & sour soup when I’m feeling under the weather. some of our standard orders are Moo Goo Gai Pan, Sweet & Sour shrimp (these shrimp aren’t small), And General Tao’s. I love that they seem to use fresh bamboo shoots in the veggies, because it’s a wonderful difference in taste.
Surprising. Just went in on a Sunday afternoon because I was craving Chinese food. Not a huge store front so I wasn’t sure if they were still open until I pulled up, but I walked in and it was very clean and prices were to be expected. Got the General Tso’s lunch special for under 5 bucks and Steamed Dumplings for another 5 or so. Food quality and quantity was excellent. Chicken and rice were not dry or gross like most places, the vegetables in the pork fried rice were not dried out. Over all good quality of food.Steamed Dumplings…Wow, they were better than I’ve ever had with all of the traveling I’ve done. Very surprised, and the dipping sauce that comes with them compliments them very well.Highly recommend this place!
Yummy. I love their food and friendly staff. It’s so close to my house that I can walk. 🙂 Their General Tso’s Chicken is the best in town! Their prices are great and they are always smiling for my entire visit.
We have been regular customers since this nice family opened about 13 years ago. Food is delicious in spite of the lack of decor. Go for its OUTSTANDING food…always grrreat! David & Helaine
