Another great dinner at Shanghi Buffet!. This has been about my 10th visit to Shanghi and one thing you can say about this restaurant is it’s consistency. I actually liked the shrimp better today though than it usually is. I like it when there isn’t alot of breading like they were today. One suggestion though though for some of their dishes and particularly the General Chicken is that they should put dried chili peppers in the General’s Chicken like they do at Walmart. It just make it have more flavor which is does lack. The spring rolls are the absolute best though and haven’t found a better restaurant with them yet. They just need an upgrade on their meat quality. They have too much dark meat chicken in almost all their dishes. The dark meat needs more flavor or add more white meat to the dishes. This espeically applied to the Teriyaki Chicken,Sesame Chicken,and General Chicken.12 Aug, 2014Good,Just Don’t Go In Between 2 And 4. Egg Drop is excellent!. I don’t have any complaints about the service or the food here. The General Tso Chicken,Battered Shrimp,And Egg Drop soup is great! The only complaint I have it that when you go between 2 and 4 the food isn’t replaced and you get all cold dishes. The only thing on the bar was the spring rolls and noodles. I love the egg/vegetable stuff,but it was too ice cold to eat. The fruit is fresh and the ice tea is perfect. I recommend it for the small $6.75 price before 4pm. Maybe go like 3:50pm to avoid price change,but newer stuff.12 Aug, 2014Spring Roll. Crunchy,lots of veggies too.

I love this place! Food is excellent and the egg drop soup is the best!
Not exactly for anyone on a low fat low sodium diet.
