We Love It!!!. Our family dines here on a regular basis and it’s awesome! As Pastors of a local Church, we frequently bring guests with us and have never ever been disappointed. The food is great, the portions are generous, and the staff is friendly

Real hardwood fired. Although this is not the highest quality barbecue restaurant, I like it. For what you pay you definitely get an excellent value. It is so easy to find, being just off the highway. I know for a fact that their ovens use real hardwood from Florida. I like that the flavor comes from both the sauce, spice, and wood. Given the price and the fact that this is not a seasonal restaurant, so long as you understand the price range you are in you will not be disappointed. I used to eat here monthly when I lived in the area.

A must go to place if your placing through and heading to the keys
This was only ok for me. It was about as good as BBQ from a chain restaurant can be. The chicken was a little on the dry side. I enjoyed the salad bar and the sweet tea was great. Overall I would give this restaurant a B- and if I had other options would pass on Sonny’s.
