Terrible experience !!!. Terrible service from the only waiter and apparently manager who had no sense of the food. Ten minutes to bring water and wine after ordering. Not friendly. Old, outdated and dirty atmosphere. This can’t be the same ownership/management that the positive reviewers experienced. Left < 10% tip – VERY RARE FOR US – and waiter probably thinks we only tipped on discounted coupon amount. THROW YOUR MONEY AWAY AT YOUR OWN RISK !!!
We eat early luckily since we didn’t have a reservation, arriving about six. We both had crepes, one scallopSeafood and the other scallop/ shrimp seafood and we were more than happy with both the Reisling and the food. We will return!
If you like the quaintness and ambiance of Europe, with a background of authentic French music, Coupled we delicious cuisine, you will as we do LOVE 33rd & Dine. this was our third time back and the food has been consistently GREAT
As close as I might ever get. I am not by any means an expert on french cuisine but I know what I like. 33rd & Dine is my idea of those quaint little restaurants that you see in the movies where the couple fall in love and live happily ever after. It’s a small intimate place hidden away on NE 33rd avenue in Lauderdale-by-the-sea but the food is anything but forgettable. The French Onion soup was unlike any I have ever had. Last night I had the skirt steak with shallot sauce and a baked tomato…. MAGNIFICENT!!!! My wife had the shrimp scampi which is quite a common dish around here but I must tell it the sauce was unlike any scampi I ever had and again it was absolutely fantastic. While I watched as customer were greeted with hugs and big smiles by the staff. Clearly this place has customer who return on a regular basis. That should tell you something about the food and service which I thought was very good.I recommend 33rd & Dine to anyone looking for good food at a moderate price. It’s just too bad they don’t have room for live entertainment.
