Nice view isn’t worth the bad experience. I have gone to this bar for years when coming into Ft. Lauderdale. I was never impressed but it was not until recent until it just got too bad (and after they were on Bar Rescue). We stood there for over 20 minutes waiting for service with even the owners standing 10 feet away. Every time we tried to flag them down they acted like they were busy and walked away. Finally, we flagged someone down and he was very nice but slow and not very attentive. We ordered a round of drinks, I got the smallest Bloody Mary I have ever seen and it tasted like it had no alcohol in it. In fact, none of the drinks tasted like they had alcohol and for over $10 being on the low end of the drink prices, I would expect a little more. After the end of the our bad food and bad drinks we had to wait 40 minutes for the bill. It was expensive and overpriced for what the quality they offer. BOTTOM LINE: Poorly run, bad drinks, bad food, and bad service for one very bad experience. I will just bring my own drink to the beach in the future and save myself from this again.
Worst restaurant experience EVER!. This was absolutely the worst service I have ever gotten from ANY kind of establishment. I am not a blogger, foodie, or anything of the sort. In fact this is my very first review EVER. A couple of us went here to watch the NBA finals game. After sitting there for about 40 minutes being ignored, we finally went up to the bar to order our food and drinks. Ordered a couple appetizers and a pizza. It didn’t take long for us to get our food, and that might be the only nice thing I can say about this place. The appetizers were okay at best. The pizza, however, had something on it that was spoiled. It just smelled and tasted sour. The smell just permeated the air around our table so bad that we had to move it away from our table top all together. There was only two bites in the whole pie while it was just sitting there. Now you would think this would’ve been a clear cut sign to anyone working there that there was something wrong with our food. At one point we tried to flag down one of the waiters walking by our table. He basically told us that we weren’t his table and were pretty much not his problem. It wasn’t until a few minutes into the 4th quarter that somebody asked if everything was okay. Now, we got our food just after the start of the second quarter. If you don’t watch basketball, that’s a very long time. Eventually a manager comes by and attempts to do a cop out. Says how his staff dropped the ball and how stuff like this never happens. Tells us that the reason we didn’t have a waiter was because we ordered from the bar. That was the statement of the night that is the motivation behind this review. He even says how he was going to get our table a round of shots to make up for it. Guess what, THE SHOTS NEVER CAME! My suggestion, go somewhere else. There are a thousand other bars in the same area with the same beach view but with better food and undoubtedly better service.
Went here for happy hour and stayed for dinner and it was great! Very good drink prices for happy hour and we had burgers and Philly cheesesteak which was awesome. Right by the beach and next to our hotel so that was a plus!
Too tired for a full review. Food is overpriced for the mediocre offerings. Canned, sliced black olives on a Greek salad? Meh! Avoid!
