Boccaccino’s great food, service, and atmospher. I was recently in Fort Lauderdale and had breakfast here two days in a row. The second day there was about ten of us.The food was very good and the service was exceptional.Lisa was our server on both days and she did a superb job.I cant wait to come back and have the French toast topped with fresh fruit and cream.
Boccaccino in Ft. Lauderdale- Amazing scenery and Food!. I recently had the pleasure of discovering a very cool place to people watch while having some great Italian food with an ocean back drop. This little Italian place is a great place to watch all the beach activity along the strip while having lunch or dinner. We were all pleasantly surprised with each dish that came out in a timely manner. We all tried different dishes so we could sample. For starters we ordered the Mozzarella Cakes- Oh my goodness… incredible. The calamari was of the best we’ve ever had- even topping some we had in Greece. Our other dishes were all mouthwatering: Lasagna, Mahi mahi, pasta w/vodka sauce (YUM), and the Mediterranean salad- all delicious choices. The wait staff (our waitress was Lisa) was so friendly and accommodating. Prices very fair to low- especially with the beach as your dining room. We had a wonderful time here and wanted to spread the word.
Went here last week and had the worst experience of my life. The general manager is rude and racist. He yelled and cursed at me because his waitress messed up on my order. He tried to belittle me because I’m young. Overpriced pizza. Domino’s is better and more friendly. The waitresses tried to gang up on my friends because I complained and then they put 15% gratituty on my bill. It was only 4 of us and they just passed a law banning auto gratituty. I will never return and will tell everyone I know.
I lived here several years ago and used to eat here all the time. I returned recently and was VERY disappointed. The owner(or whoever the cashier was) actually charged me a different price when I said I was going to pay with a CC and not cash. It’s a shame, it used to be a good place, now it seems to be a tourist trap.
