Smells like the 1970’s and 3 day old laundry from the beach. I will try to keep this review short. First, this is the only restaurant I have ever been to that doesn’t have a kids menu!? Either our waitress was ignorant or this place doesn’t want you to bring your children. Second, this place is in a shopping center, the first thing you will notice when you walk in is the dcor matches the awkward smell (1970’s and 3 day old laundry from the beach). This is an absolute tourist trap, the food was fair at best and absolutely overpriced. Our waitress was so bad, that we left her $1.00 to ensure she didn’t think we forgot. Avoid this place at all possibilities and you will thank me later.
You be better of eating at Taco Bell. You come out happier and with more money in your pocket. On my quest to find a descent sit down Mexican restaurant, Carlos & Pepes did not make the cut. Food was bland and terribly overpriced by about $5.00 per item. Service was slow and the restaurant was empty. They don’t even have fountain sodas – so no refills. Guess they prey on poor unsuspecting tourist, because I would imagine no local in their right mind would eat here again. Save your stomach and pocket book and go somewhere else.
Over Priced. Went to this restaurant for the first time hoping to have a good Mexican meal. Ordered the Fajitas and found the food lacking flavor. my partners meal was also lacking flavor, and the meal was way over priced for what it was.
Ridiculous Prices!. Almost all of the menu items are over $16. It’s Mexican food, not a fine steakhouse! The service was horrible, we sat so long the next table over started a conversation with us on where to go instead. Food came out cold and bland. A shame as I’d love to have a decent normal priced Mexican place in this area.Oh and their house margarita wasn’t worth $11.
Horrible service, mediocre food, high prices. Absolutely not worth the visit. We saw our waiter once every 20 minutes. When the food FINALLY came out, it was incredibly bland and WAY overpriced. Extremely disappointed with this restaurant.
Horribly slow (and not particularly friendly) service, very overpriced food that’s not very good. Will not return.
Bland and Tasteless. If you’re looking for a decent margarita and then eat once you’re already drunk, go for it. If not the food is over priced, bland and tasteless. They have a policy apparently that they will not bring chips if you order tuna dip, at least thats what they told us after charging us $5 for chips and salsa (per basket) Unless the entire party orders a plate of food, there is a chip charge. I recommend you eat elsewhere at least on the beach with better drinks and the water.
