We were originally going to eat at another spot but then my friend who lives here suggested that we must try here. It’s a very cute little French bakery that offers anything from sandwiches on baguettes to delicious pastries. I originally wanted to try the chicken salad since my friend said it’s the best here, but unfortunately it was sold out at 2:30pm when we arrived. So instead, I opted to get the ham and Brie on baguette with a side of tuna. They also sell Dirty-brand potato chips so I got those as well. Let me start off by saying the baguette is amazing. Everything is freshly baked in-store so I appreciated that. The Brie of course is from the French brand and ham is ham. The side of tuna that I got was just alright. I’m not sure what I was expecting from it but it was just tuna. Maybe because my friend said the chicken salad here was amazing so I figured there would be a chance the tuna would be as well. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case. We also got two items for dessert. One was the peach and apricot strudel(?) and the other was a raspberry mousse cake. Now before I say anything more, I come from the DC area so I am used to very delicious pastries and baked goods. We have many different French shops and and very delicious Korean bakeries. So compared to my previous experiences, the desserts weren’t all that great. However, my friend who is from this area, thought the raspberry mousse was excellent. On my final note, I have to say the service here is amazing. They catered to us very well, shared some personal stories, and even offered to put brown sugar in my friend’s ice coffee. What they did with the brown sugar was melt it in a shot of espresso and mix it in her drink, so that was very sweet. Grade-A service! So if you’re hoping for a baguette sandwich for lunch, this is the place to go! And I guess try the chicken salad since it gets sold out? (:

Good salads. Had a delicious quinoa, green bean, onion, grape tomato, yellow pepper salad. I popped in here for coffee in previous years, and had some good soups. The croissants are ok; 3 out of 5 stars. The cafe has a nice quiet vibe but better food could found elsewhere.
