Just right for a local. Great view & happy hour prices on beer, wine and mixed drinks. Had fish tacos and cheesesteak, very good! Hard to find places as a local that aren’t ripping you off with tourist prices and giving you crap quality. Definitely will be coming back regularly.
Nice location – bad experience! Slow service, tasteless fast food style. I had a mahi sandwich that has absolutely no taste and flavor. Even though it is a relaxed atmosphere restaurant it is NOT kid friendly at all. I will never go again.

I’m just here to drink. This place is AWSOME if you are looking to have a few drinks on the water.Ricky the bartender and cheep drinks are the only reasons for going to flip flops. Ricky made us feel very welcome and made us feel at home. That said, The manager of this place has no business being in the hospitality Business he was rude to customers and staff alike. The manager/owner would not take our coupon that we acquired on line and made us feel bad for even mentioning it.The view is excellent
Not for us… The decor is very pleasant but the food left much to be desired. The hamburgers are frozen beef patties. They were chewy and no flavor at all. My husband’s Mahi sandwich came with the thin end of a tomato though the tomatoes on the burgers were center cut and generous. The coleslaw was so bland AND WARM that I was immediately turned off. We were offered Mimosas at a reasonable price of $4. There was such little champagne in it that my husband and son both could not taste the alcohol. I felt that they PREPARE food here… They do not cook anything. It was the lowest priced restaurant on the water but I would only try this spot again as a drinking establishment.
Flip FLOPs. This somewhat dingy tourist trap is an offender of classic bait and switch. You have to pay to park, but they say you can get the parking fee waived just by dining there. However, when my party presented them with a gift certificate at the end of the meal, they refused to honor the free parking. Like I said, this is classic bait and switch and it is quite shameful on their part. They should be ashamed of conducting such shady business practices. Anyway, I got a wrap, which was average and nothing out of the ordinary. Bottom line: stay away from this FLOP so you don’t get SCAMMED!!P.S. Hey Gordon Ramsay, this place would make great TV for your restaurant makeover show..it OBVIOUSLY needs the help!! 😉
Dinner at Flip Flops. The restaurant is very colorful and pretty. Looks like a Key West type motif when you walk in. The staff was helpful and sat us right away. The service was a little slow, considering the restaurant was pretty empty. The food was okay, nothing special. The biggest issue we had was most of the food was WAY over salted!! Even the burgers, fish, beans and rice! The drinks were okay. We did tell the management and they removed a few items off the bill. They did seem concerned and wanted the feedback. We liked the location, and will try this one more time to see if the food is any better.
