Atm double dipping. Food was ok..i wont write a bad review in regards to that also the prices werent bad..BUT not cool to be charged 2x by there atm..this is one of those places that dont advertise they dont take c.cards aside from amex i guess they expect u to know that about them already..ok..no biggie..the issue i have is being charged 2x by there atm!!nice scam guys…not the thing to do when you been around this long and featured on the cooking channel etc..
Bad service, mediocre breakfast. Breakfast was ok – nothing great, nothing bad. The service was awful – my waitress forgot to bring the orange juice, then only brought one of the two ordered, but charged for two. She didn’t come back to refill the coffee until I flagged her down and then seemed angry that I had done so. I felt unwelcome. Given all this and that the decor is rather dark and dreary, I don’t think I’ll return.
Food is great… Be prepared for uber conservative and obviously politcal pics of GWBush, Rush Limbaugh and Donald Trump over the bar… Not my thing.
C’mon. 24/7 diner food in the heart of Lauderdale beach area. Great service, clean enough atmosphere, unbelievable selection and 24/7!!! Great Reuben, hot fresh fries, big cups of fizzy, cold soda and the portions were huge. Salads were plentiful and lettuce was crisp. Plenty of toppings and ALWAYS enough to take some home. Cheap too!
Disappointing & Dirty – Excited to go here bc of a 76% like rate, I found The Floridan dirty (both visually & smelled), both our server & the person who checked us out rude, server delivered our food, then our check (no follow-up) too bad if you needed something. No refills on drinks or even cream for your coffee after asking. I never write bad reviews, but this experience was bad enough that I’ll never take anyone back there. Much rather go to the breakfast place (La Bonne crepe on Las Olas they have all the amazing breakfast you could want).
Good Breakfast. This place was recommended by the hotel for a normal breakfast place. It is a basic diner, with a huge menu. The decoration pictures are of famous people and keep you interested while you wait. The staff was not that attentive, but nice overall. We ordered omelets, that were the size of a dinner plate and very tasty. You can choose from many items to include in omelet. They are cash only, and have ATM.
Excellent breakfast at good prices. Good service and speedy kitchen. Recommend
