There are several Italian places nearby that deliver. For various reasons, I am not happy with any of them. In this case, the salads that arrived with the penne dishes were made with iceberg lettuce rather than romaine or something more appropriate. More importantly, the tomatoes were not the slightest bit ripe. This is inexcusable. No cuisine is more intimately associated with tomatoes than Italian. The other major disappointment was that the Penne Carbonara was made with heavy cream. Carbonara is not made with cream. Be warned. The food at Fort Lauderdale Pizza and Pasta is neither authentic nor very good.
