Superior upscale restaurant in a beautiful setting. Superior restaurant in every way. Understated yet flawless interior, amazing intracostal views from practically every seat, impeccable service and sublime food. We had crab cake and scallop apps followed by rib eye and lobster mains. All perfectly prepared and presented. Did have a little seating issue, we requested window seating mentioning it was our anniversary. Ended up at a table across from the window which was a little irritating being that there were several window tables open. Are we supposed to tip for a window table? Either way they made it up by surprising us with a lovely on the house chocolate mousse dessert. Will definitely be back! Oh, would also highly recommend checking out the Pelican Landing bar for some sunset cocktails. Perfect night.
By far one of the most excel meals we’ve has in FTL! Made a reservation and wasn’t that happy with the table, but they were very accommodating! Ended up sitting outside which I would definitely recommend on a nice cool night! The atmosphere was amazing! Service was good! Definitely will be back and recommend to friends!!!
The food was not as good as other steakhouses in the area. Primary reason I would not go back is because the staff was very inappropriate.
Lovely Evening on the Waterfront. I’ve eaten here many times, and continue to be impressed by the attentive service. I have read reviews here which disagree strongly — all I can say is that I’ve always been part of a group of 8-9, including a child under the age of 5, and we’ve never had a problem; quite the opposite, in fact. The place was mobbed on a recent Thursday evening.
Food is great from start to finish, great staff, it will cost you not your local burger place not for family’s with young ones I give this place a A+ you will have a great time.
Very nice goat cheese and tomato salad with out of the oven bread. Very sweet young lAdy tending bar who made a mean lemon drop martini.
Would rather dine at Waffle House. Walked in on a Friday night at 7pm at the suggestion of the Hotel staff. The place was empty. I mean the only sign of life was the dozen or so wait staff standing at the bar hoping someone would show up to earn a tip. They sat my girlfriend and I at a table for two outside. I asked to be seated at a table for four so we could sit next to eachother and they refused to seat us. Again the place was empty. The server was afraid to even ask the manager if it was ok. I travel 70% of the month and dine out often. I have never seen such stupidty in my life, We went to another place for dinner and shared our story as we were in disbelief. The staff there knew the situation all too well and enjoyed the extra business they get from the Grill 66’s reputation. I would’nt spend a penny there. The management lacks any customer service appreciation and forgets how fragile the industry is in given the economy. I guess their business plan is one of profitless prosperity until the doors close or the Hyatt wakes up and says enough and kicks them out,
