Do you love rice?. Went to heart rock sushi last night for dinner with guests from Philly. If you love lots of rice, go there. Absolutely the worst sushi I have had in my life. Ginger dressing on the salad was awful, green tea was just warm water. Sushi was alot of rice and a little fish. Seriously, the worst sushi I have ever had.

I’ve tried many times!. I have been to this restaurant at least five times now and each time left me with a bad taste in my mouth. On some occasions it was the service and on some the food. I really watch and basically grade servers when I go out to eat because I am in the business and I clearly can point out poor service from good. Almost every question I had made the server go back to the kitchen and retrieve the answer… This is a business, you should really train your servers better, I mean how hard is it to let your f.o.h. know this is a white miso or the fish today is from the Pacific not the Atlantic! Chicken gizzards, most definitely came in frozen… not acceptable, Unagi needs a better glaze because it just lacks traditional elements. Im sure it used to be good, but now they are pretty lackluster on tradition.
