We sat for five minutes before a waitress greeted us with the menus. I ordered steam vegetables with tofu and brown rice, along with a Diet Coke. The waitress repeated back fried rice, I corrected her and said no brown rice at which she yelled extra for brown rice, to which I replied OK. Canned soda was provided. I advise that I will pass and requested water. My soda was snatched off the table a definite attitude. When the water was provided, I requested that my tofu be grilled and I was told too late. When the food was served there was a double serving of white rice piled on my plate and the waitress said no brown rice was available – really, after all that? I split the rice among friends who requested not to be mentioned. The sauce with my vegetables and tofu was tasty; however, not enough to overcome the attitude and games of the waitress. I was still so hungry I had to stop someplace else to pick up additional food before returning to work. I do not plan on returning.
The sad demise of a great eatery. Years ago this was a great place for awesome food. It just continues to fall apart. I dined there this week for the first time in several years. It will be years before I ever venture back. At prime time I walked in to only seeing two other tables with patrons. There was not one take out order picked up during my visit. This has now also become a baby sitting center. Three young children were being housed on the dining floor. They were making the most of the empty tables, as they handled everything in sight. The food was poor, at best. And forget the hot and sour soup. Tasteless, to say the least. The best thing on the table was the dried noodles. The server removed our condiments during our meal, to accommodate another table. It was sad to see such a great place hit rock bottom.
Have been eating here and ordering delivery for for about 12 years or so. It used to be sooooo good. My favorite place. But in the last few months the spring rolls are gross and the food is just different. Not sure if they changed their ingredients or what but I have kind of stopped ordering. Every now and again I’ll try it again but am disappointed. It’s too bad, I used to eat here at least twice a week. Delivery is super fast and eat-in service is fast and friendly. Huge portions. Same people have been working there for years and they always recognize their regulars.
Good food. A very little restaurant with great food. Great service. Their take-out service is quick and everything arrives hot!One of or favorite places to eat Chinese Food.
