Trattoria, really?. What a total disappointment. From the moment you walk into this restaurant, you don’t feel comfortable. The metal chairs and tables resembles an operating room where everything is sterile and cold. Then you are subjected to a ten minute oral presentation of the daily specials where most of the dishes are hard to pronounce by the non speaking Italian staff. I went there because I love pizza Napolitana and this place was given a high grade on wood,oven pizza. The pizza dough was excellent , chewy and charred but the home made mozzarella has a sweetness to it ruining the whole flavor. My wife ordered orecchiette just to find them swimming on their own broth with a tasteless sausage and broccoli rabe so bitter it rendered the whole pasta dish inedible.The portions are humongous, main reason why the flavores are compromised. What happened to : il primo piatto, secondo, terzo….. ..not here. I would rename this place as an American Trattoria because the only thing that slightly reminds me of real Italian trattoria is the scent from the wood burning pizza oven.

From the bitchy hostess, who i believe is the owners wife to the waiters that don’t have a clue what they are doing. Slow service with an attitude for average Italian food at high prices. Somewhere along the way this place has lost it’s mojo. I will never eat at this restaurant again. Being a business owner here in Fort Lauderdale I will make sure my customers know to avoid this place at costs!
