Nice lunch, friendly management. We were in town for a week, and only had a chance to stop by once for a very light lunch. Just had a few appetizer type things. The food was good, and the place was very crowded on a Thursday for lunch. The owner stopped by and welcomed us, and chatted with us for a few minutes before leaving. Very nice guy and I look forward to coming back during another visit so we can have something more substantial.

Place was clean, friendly, food was amazing and affordable. We are from Toronto staying at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale so glad we found this place, it was 5-10 minutes away. We went several times, tried breakfast, lunch and dinner….all meals excellent! So glad we found this place!
Great Real Food!. I love that i can always count on a great lunch special for which is huge with soup and salad for under $8.!!!! The staff is great too! Don,t take my word, try it yourself and you will love it too. Or meet me there for Sancocho on Saturdays and bring your appetite.
Came in on a Saturday on a 95% approval, and now I can personally vouch for the atmosphere, food quality, and fast service. If you’re hungry, bring your appetite over to my new favorite restaurant in the Ft. Lauderale area. 8-18-2012
Great find for authentic Colombian fare. My husband and I stumbled into this cozy eatery, excited to sample some Colombian food. He ordered the whole fried fish which was excellent and reminded him of a recent visit to Colombia. I had the chicken with passion fruit sauce. Yummy. Also, for any of you with a wheat gluten issue, they offer empanadas made with corn flour which were quite tasty too. Our server Rosa was as welcoming as can be. We’ll be coming back for sure.
Best Latin Food In Fort Lauderdale. Las Orquideas has been a favorite of mine for a couple of years. Good food, clean place, unbeatable price and amiable staff that will make you feel at home and well cared for.
