Meat Toronado Locked in with Meat. Eaten here every time I’ve been to Ft. Lauderdale, never disappointed. You won’t be able to enjoy a Publix sub (let alone anything from subway) for a few weeks after, and once you can, it’s time for Laspada’s again.

Amazing. A friend told me to visit LaSpada’s while I was in town and to grab an Italian. I followed his advice and was happy I did. The sub was one of the best I have had since moving to Florida and I wished we had something comparable in Tallahassee. Grew up going to laspadas in davie and off commercial it isn’t what it used to be barely any meat. Not cheap either $8 for a small sub, don’t mind paying it if I get my money’s worth. Very disappointed
Fantastic. We had hoagies of different varieties. They bread was very good, the fresh cut meat was plentiful and very good, the hot peppers and toppings very tasty. It was a truly outstanding sandwich!
Second bad experience! Called ro place order while walking to location. Was on hold for 7 minutes. Only 2 customers and an employee had a young child behind counter when I got there. Walked away without ordering! Three strikes and you’re out!13 Aug, 2011Lauderdale – hit or miss. Been there a few times and got a great hoagie but today was different story. Music was loud, two female employees off the clock hanging out behind the counter in bathing suits, the muscle dude slicing meats appeared to be high. He messed up a couple orders in front of mine, didn’t seem to care about the two elderly ladies in line that could not hear the questions he was asking and was rude to me when I asked him not to cut my hoagie in half (twice). I think I’ll take a break from there for awhile. Plenty of other place on 17th Street to eat.
Best Subs in Lauderdale…. Hands Down!! Having been in the community for so long, the name alone has set an expectation for quality that only LaSpada’s can meet, Many have tried, but only LaSpada’s has withstood the test of time. And don’t worry; this isn’t some chain that they sold the naming rights to and had some jack-wagon open up a location. Same great folks from Commercial work at this location as well. Great stuff. Amazing after a hang over too…
