Not worth it!!! This usu…. Not worth it!!! This usually delicious and spot on seafood restaurant has gone down hill big time! The seafood platter had no flavor, the oysters were the size of quarters, and the ceviche tasted more like mango fruit salad. If you’re going to spend this kind of money there are plenty more suited restaurants in FTL. This place is simply not worth it!!!
Fancy Food Poor Service. We are locals. Always keeping our eyes open for great restaurants. The owner of Lobster Bar Sea Grille, the old Jackson Steakhouse, did an excellent job with the new interior. I dare to say that this is the most elegant restaurant in town. The menu has many remarkable items. Each of us created our own three course dinner containing of appetizers only: Pickled Local Beets (with a beet sorbet, interesting!), Petrossian Caviar on Deviled Egg, Char-Grilled Octopus, Prime Steak Tartare, Ahi Tuna Carpaccio and Hamachi Sashimi. The kitchen staff does an excellent job: Everything tasted great! If only the same could be said about the service. A waiter brought the bread basket when we were almost finished with our first course. A minute later the waiter bussing our plates tried to take it away. Really! We were still eating our second courses when the third courses were delivered. Instead of coming back some minutes later the waiting staff pushed the plates on the table, making us uncomfortable. And when I just finished my second meal the waitress grabbed my plate and put the flatware I was eating with on the table for me to use it again. I had to ask for a new set! This all happened on a quiet Monday evening not during a busy night. We will be back because of the atmosphere and the exceptional food. However, well wait a couple of weeks, hoping the waiting staff has been professionally trained by then. Learn the basics, guys: Bring the bread right away, place clean flatware after every course and dont rush guests to finish a course just because your timing for serving the next one was wrong!
Extremely disappointed! Hoped this would be a great place but turned out to be a dud.. Overpriced and overrated. The staff was snotty and service was poor. On a Sunday evening, the restaurant was extremely dead. As I arrived I passed by many restaurants on Las Olas most of which were packed, however I arrived to a this place and there were only two tables occupied making the poor service inexcusable. The food was mediocre at best. The Arctic Char was average at best and the 2.5 lbs. lobster was just like it is in every restaurants. Nothing special about the food here. I would guess this place will not be around long unless management changed things quickly. Word is getting out quickly that this place is waaaayyyy overrated. Might as well go to 15th street fisheries, Truluck or even Coconuts. All provide a much better dining experience at a lower price and you wont leave disappointed. In closing, the Valet advised he hears disappointed people leaving all the time. He confirmed that most complaints were service related. Star=2If I had good service, maybe a 3 at best….
Personally, my husband and I really enjoyed this new spot. We decided to get a few cocktails in the lounge and a very sweet young lady, I believe her name was Ariel, greeted us and took our drink orders. She made us feel very welcome and gave us a lot of background info about the restaurant. Initially, we wanted to sit at a table but really enjoyed the lounge and people watching. The cocktails were very good, only wish they were stronger. Food was excellent!! We had a delicious steak and a sea bass that was recommended by our cocktail waitress that was phenomenal. Overall, our experience was excellent and we look forward to going back

Too many desk employees. Too many female employees just walking around or standing around talking. Lounge area furniture too big and dull in color. Tables were dirty and so were the wine glasses. No one greeted us in the lounge, felt uncomfortable. Food in dining room, which has a cold atmosphere, was terrible. Misrepresented as compared to the original menu. Won’t be going back.
Sucks!!!. What a rip off im so pissed off im speaking in caps!!!! stuffy everybody looks at you, fake accents, sky rocket prices, dress code,mediocre food, bunch of old people, stuck in the 1990s. i am here to warn you boy!
