You Will LOVE It. Dinner for two with a bottle of wine sharing Charcuterie (salami, and two cheeses: one was black and blue cheese) and Crispy Duck, smaller portions of Wahoo with coconut rice, bok choy and the Grilled Pink Shrimp with cheese grits. Flourless Chocolate cake with caramel center was for Dessert. We were full with all these selections. Every dish was excellent, when our server asked which we liked best we could not decide. I would order all of them again, but want to try other offerings too. Service was also excellent. Beautiful decor, we were seated in the smaller area of the restaurant which I liked. There is a very large open dining room, bar or outdoor seating available. If you have not been here, you have to try it.
Good food… SLOW service at the bar. I was traveling by myself and decided to sit at one of the high top tables at the bar.The service was INCREDIBLY slow and unattentive. Plates were left sitting for a very long time without as much as an appology. The ceviche was OK… not outstanding. The Wahoo was phenomenal. The composition of the dish and balance was nicely done and made a good fish dish turn into something more. The Antelope was tasty but not the best thing ever and the pastina that it was served on left a bit to be desired from a composition standpoint.
Went for the Christmas meal. Poached lobster was overcooked and just meh. Salad was nice. Service was excellent. It is waaay overpriced. Almost a $100 a head and that was with 2 children in tow. I would not go back again.
UGH- Left hungry and Frustrated!. The portions have gotten so small that we were starving when we left. We got 3 dishes each, and were still starving as we drove home to make a sandwich. It is crazy- 1 spoon of food for appetizers, 3 spoons for the smaller entre portion. The service is painful- there for over 3 hours. Begged for bread repeatedly, the service was PAINFUL!!!!! Almost 2 hours in to the meal….After having 1 small spoon of food….The food was stone cold when we got it, but we didn’t complain for fear that it would take another hour to warm it. None of us, not one of us had a warm, let alone hot meal. Total miscommunication between the kitchen and wait staff who seemed totally uncaring about the wait- capacino came after the desert and the check was paid with no apology or acknowledgement. The check was really expensive and we don’t mind paying for good food. The quality of food was fresh and tasty; which was the only reason I gave 2 stars rather than 1, but tiny portions of cold food is tough to eat and enjoy and all of us were so frustrated. We saw the Manager apologizing to so many tables as people complained about the wait. Not good. Will not be back.
