Great food. I’ve only been to the Ale House 3 times, so i really can’t review the place, although, i’ll try to give a brief review, The food at this place is great, i’ve tried both the lobster, and the crab, and there both fresh. Whenever i’m in Florida (i’m from Canada, and i visit Florida march break). Next month i’m visiting Fort Lauderdale, and i’ll be visiting the Ale House.
Plain Cheap food. The mash potatoes were ok but the gravy was terrible. The Filet Mignon was great. I ordered mushrooms and the gave me onions and mushrooms and charged for both which would of been fine if they were cooked. Those veggies where cold and more raw than cooked.
Quite the selection
Downhill slide continues. This use to be the happening place but over the last 6 years it has gone downhill. There is no point in being a regular here as the managers are never out on the floor and the staff change weekly. I recommend taking a picture of the person that is waiting on your table as you may not see them for so long that you will forget what they looked like. The food is consistant but it takes so long to get it ordered that the frustration impacts what could have been a nice meal.
Consistently good quality food served in a very clean restaurant. Lots of TVs to watch a game, and lots of great beers. It is becoming one of my favorite neighborhood restaurants.
Went for the NCAA championship and it wasn’t too crowded… Good drink specials and good food selection… I wouldn’t go for a football Sunday, certainly a Monday night game though. Good alternative to most sports bars, but TVs are pretty small.
Big portions. Price is good, especially drink specials. I had a reasonable steak and baked potato on a Sumday night, but it looks like it could get crowded FRiday-Sat.
