I had to offset the negative review with my very positive one. Let me begin by saying that I waited too long to leave this review, so I’m remembering it the best I can. I shared a German chocolate cupcake and chocolate ice cream with my brother and sister 3 months ago and I still remember it! The cupcake was perfect. The icing was incredible and with the chocolate ice cream and whipped cream with it made it even better. The best of all was the caramel sauce topping, which hardened on the cold ice cream. Easily the best dessert truck I’ve ever seen! Not to mention how awesome their truck looks! I love Munchcakes and can’t wait to go back home to South Florida to try it again.
Skip this food truck!. How hard is it to make a decent cupcake? Tried Munchcakes for the first time, and I will never, ever, ever, return again. It angers me how horrible their cupcakes taste! They boast about their use of natural ingredients and use of real vanilla bean. I guess that makes up for runny frosting and lack of flavor? I could make a batch of Betty Crocker cupcakes that taste better than Munchcakes. Save your money and move on to the next truck.
