We were partying all day and needed some late night dinner. We took an Uber here because it was open late. At first glance, it looked like a hole in the wall place. It was dim inside and kind of divey. There were people playing pool and the bar was big. We sat at a table and our waitress was fast and friendly. I decided to get the veggie burger which came with kettle chips. Wow, the burger was tender and flavorful. I was craving a burger but was trying to watch my diet and this veggie burger did the trick with my cravings. Only complaint was, it was scorching hot and it burned my mouth; my fault, I was hungry and couldn’t stop eating it lol. We also ordered a tub of coronas to share. Everybody in my table enjoyed their meals. The food was actually inexpensive considering it’s near the beach and a touristy area. Would I return? definitely!

Our table had a burger (a little dry, but adding sauces helped and the flavor was great), fried shrimp (excellent), the Mahi Mahi quesadilla (very good) and a Caesar chicken salad. Good came out promptly. Overall a good convenient place to eat with a nice atmosphere.
This was the one place in the area I was most excited about trying. It did not disappoint. The Parrot Lounge has been the go to coastal seafood place since opening in 1970. While dining on the fish and chips, it was clear why this place has done so well. The sports like atmosphere, glorious craft beer selection and quality food make this restaurant a must visit.
