Terribly Overpriced – Will Never Go Back. We are locals who love to support our local pubs and restaurants. We had lunch here one steamy afternoon. The fried calamari appetizer left much to be desired. It was not fresh, overcooked and they serve a tiny bit of marinara with it. Definitely frozen, in a bag, catering to masses. The menu was way overpriced so we asked if they had a lunch menu. The waitress offered us a lunch menu, but only after asking for one. I was shocked to see a MAHI MAHI sandwich for $18.50 ??? when just across the water at The Briny Irish Pub they serve the same fresh caught local fish for $13.78 all day long. (AND CINDI, PLEASE DON’T TELL ME THAT YOUR PRICES ARE COMMENSURATE WITH OTHER BARS & RESTAURANTS NEARBY, BECAUSE WE HAVE GOOGLE) The flavors of their specialty fish dishes was the only redeeming quality – albeit expensive ($29.99 for a dinner portion and $18.99 for lunch) it was delicious, lots of butter, coconut milk and great spices to boot. However, once again, while the flavors were great and the seafood decent, the dish was made up of MOSTLY RICE. I don’t recommend this place for locals or out of towners. If you’re interested in eating on the water, try Chart House, Blue Moon Fish or Briny Pub for a bar atmosphere. We will not be going back. :(07 Dec, 2014Terribly Overpriced.
