We are in ft Lauderdale on a boat, and after working to fix things all day, Quarterdeck provided consistent hunger relief. Fresh, fantastic sashimi, great spinach and goat cheese salad. Their fresh fish is consistently delicious, though simple and unassuming in preparation. My sword fish was surprisingly delicate. This isn’t a foodie place. It’s a place where you will get a solid meal for the price, a double pour of rather drinkable house wines at happy hour all day, and fresh catch. We are big into the Seattle foodie scene where we live, and this is a good casual bite when you just need some solid unpretentious food with a generous portion.
Absolutely awful service and the food was terrible. We went in at 12:00 noon and sat ourselves after not one single person came up to greet us. The server finally came over and took a drink order. We ordered two cocktails prepared with their featured Vodka of the month. She returned 12 minutes later to inform us that they were out of the featured Vodka with no apology or concern. We ordered two sodas and ordered two medium cheeseburgers. Almost 20 minutes later, the burgers arrived at the table cooked so hard that they were crispy biting into them. We drank our sodas and asked for the check after 2 bites. She brought the check and said thanks. The server never came back to the table and a manager never visited us about the obviously burned food or the lack of their featured alcohol. It’s little wonder why they have gone downhill so badly. We simply took our business to another Sports themed restaurant, Duffy’s Sports Grill, and had great drinks and food. With this level of food and service, Quarterdeck should throw in the towel now and avoid further embarrassment.

We were seated within 10 minutes. However we left after waiting more than 10 minutes at the table without being approached by wait staff. No water or anything else. Other tables around us also had empty drink glasses and a waiter never went to any of those tables either

Old faithful! Best ribs, great wings, seafood & beer. Family friendly & open late.
