Great BBQ and more,. love the smoked fish dip with the flour tortilla chips, the chopped salad was amazing, smoked salmon was very fresh, and the cowboy mashed potatoes yum, oh yeah the brisket was the best i ever had. thanks Red Cow
Really like it. Love the Burger and the smoked Bloody Mary. However it leaves me COLD. Metal chairs with a overly air conditioned space. Getting a hot towel half way through a meal???? I would visit more often if it didn’t seem so darn uncomfortable.
Terrific creative BBQ. Sunday brunch always has a few surprise specials! Not to be missed.
The only thing worse than bad bbq is bad service. This place is not good. It has potential, but the meat was tough and everything was super greasy. I couldn’t even cut through the brisket and the ribs were dry and tough. I will not revisit this place. It’s too expensive as well.
Red Cow pricing policy. I love the Red Cow Restaurant in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on Federal Highway. They have the FINEST BBQ ribs I’ve ever tasted and I have tasted many in many states. HOWEVER, I am never going back to the restaurant again. Your prices are outrageous: $21 for 6 ribs????? Tom Jenkins restaurant (no slouch in the BBQ department) charges $13.29 for 12 ribs!! Their restaurant is ALWAYS crowded. Your restaurant, when I went their at the height of dinner hour 2 nights ago, had about 3 tables seated. Does that tell you something? Your food is awesome, but you would have a LOT more customers if you lowered your prices. I say again…….$21 for 6 ribs or $13.29 for 12 ribs. If they can make a profit on 12 ribs for $13.29, what kind of outrageous profit are you making on $21 for 6 ribs????? You’ve lost a good customer with that kind of monetary greed, I’m very sorry to have to say.
Wow Red Cow. Red Cow is a restaurant worth finding. This restaurant is tucked away in a plaza where sunrise blvd and federal hwy come together in Fort Lauderdale and unfortunately it could be easily overlooked, but don’t make that mistake. The restaurant was comfortable, the ambiance was relaxing, the staff friendly, the service great, the prices were worth it, and the food was excellent. My husband and I started off the meal with the fish dip appetizer and the jalapeno peppers in the dish woke up our mouths with a bang and we knew we were in for a culinary treat for the night. Each of our meals were well presented and my husband had the eat more meat dinner selection. He had the brisket, wagyu beef ribs and baby back beef ribs and he absolutely loved it and said it truly was (as their sign out front said) the best barbecue he had ever had. He also enjoyed the cigar beer and it was excellent and reminded him of the beers he enjoyed when living in Germany. For dinner I enjoyed the fish of the day which was a Mahi that was pecan crusted on a sweet potato puree bed of pure flavor. The cocktail I had was also very tasty and had ginger beer in it. I know you are thinking why would I go to red cow to talk about fish, but although my husband is a carnivore through and through, I only eat fish and do not eat beef, chicken or pork. But the great thing is they do have selections if your don’t eat meat. It was a quiet night, which was good for us but maybe not so good for the restaurant but we want them to stay around for years to come, which is why we decided over dinner last night to write the review. We don’t do reviews often, don’t know anybody who works there, and we don’t work there, we just stumbled on the restaurant looking for something new to try together to celebrate the day and it was a great surprise. So, if you are looking for a restaurant that has excellent food that is presented beautifully, offers great service, and delivers a memorable meal then go to red cow. We’ll be back.
Great Food Great atmosphere. TV’s by the bar, projector screens to watch multiple games. Get the 3 meat and 2 sides meal and try to finish it, I double dog dare you. Can’t complain about the food or the service. Definitely visiting again.
