The food was awful!
Within walking distance of my hotel so checked it out for dinner. Tiny place but had a few tables so I ate their. (No one wants a hotel room that smells like Chinese food). Had small portion of chicken broccoli and it was more than I could eat. It was good but not great. A little bland and needed lots of soy sauce for flavor.
YES YES YES best Chinese in Ft. Lauderdale. We just came back. It is tiny so I would order take out or order and go pick up if you are too far away. You can ask for it to be spicy (which I would do on the ones not marked spicy) but the taste was spot on otherwise (we do like spicy). We had General Tso Shrimp– Perfect, Hunam Shrimp (ask for spicy) Shrimp Chop Suey (ask for spicy) Shrimp w Lobster sce (ask for spicy) The servings are huge but they do have a small portion collumn so you can taste lots of things Only 1 drawback–no brown rice. We will order again and again. The menu is huge.
Reliable,Food & Friendly Service. We order Chinese delivery almost every saturday and have been through all of the Chinese places in the SE/SW Fort Lauderdale area. Although you won’t find anything fancy on their menu, Ruby Chen’s is the best of the bunch. Accurate order delivery and tasty, Cantonese Chinese food. They are happy so adjust the spice-factor on their dishes and delivery is fast.
The food was good but very over priced. I got 2 larges and they looked like extra small. The meal was 35 dollars but was only worth 15
Love their hot and sour soup, go through a couple quarts per week.
