Fried Green Tomatoes!. Highly recommend! I was sent here by a friend and decided to visit while on vacation. The food was delicious! Everything, from the gumbo, fried green tomatoes, fried pickles, & fish tacos. The staff was friendly and very attentive. My husband and I both loved it! We will definitely go back when we are in town again.
I will never give this restaurant my business again. The owner is outrageously rude. We tried to go for lunch and I specifically went in before unloading my kids from the car, requested a table, was told the owner approved of moving two tables together Then once I unloaded two kids from car seats and got into the restaurant, he said they couldn’t do it and we could sit outside, even though it’s 95 degrees out. When I said no we aren’t sitting outside, as I had two older people and two kids with us and the heat was too much, he said that I could leave. Absolute jerk who should be ashamed of treating someone who has given him so much business in the past the way he did. Skip this place and go somewhere else!
Great food. Family of seven, including two kids, ate here for dinner. We had the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer..wonderful! Our dinners were the fish tacos, fried oysters, blackened chicken, shrimp po boy, mahi-mahi and a hot dog–everything was scrumptious. Highly recommend. Service was great. Will definitely return!

I went in for the Saints game not too long ago. We had a good enough time until the owner started swearing at an older lady. Possibly the most disgusting thing I’ve ever seen. Just because you soak your chicken in dressing doesn’t mean you’re a god. I’ll never go back.
Simple atmosphere with a bit of NOLA music playing… Great creole/Cajun offerings and food and service was a delight. Highly suggest throwing on a pair of jeans and heading ove to the southern Bayou, Shuck and dive !!!
