Although it’s a 3 minute walk away, I hadn’t tried Thai Bayshore until last night. We’ll certainly be back. The soups were outstanding, the Pad Thai very flavorful (maybe a bit more saucy than usual), and the Chicken Thai Curry was good but could have used more heat. We certainly didn’t have the service issues that others referred to. While they slowed down some after we were served, the entire staff was friendly and attentive. Funny how SoFL natives don’t realize that when you talk to people and not at them with a sense if entitlement, you nearly always get good service.
The Best Veggie Soup and the Worst Service. I’ve been going to Bayshore Thai for years and have had enough. They have the best Vegetable Soup in the world and the worst service in the world. For years I have accepted horrible service in exchange for good food but they have crossed the threshold and I will not return to the restaurant. The servers consistently look the other way and walk away in the middle of taking orders, They couldn’t care about what customers are saying or ordering. They consistently get the orders wrong. Chicken Soup instead of Vegetable Soup. Salads not brought to table. Not bringing drinks after they are ordered. Ignoring customers. Not bringing bill in a timely manner. Providing terrible responses and attitudes in response to complaints.I used to think the only thing that mattered was great food but this place proves that service does matter. What a shame. They have lost a customer.
Very good food but poor service .My guests and I felt like we were bothering staff everytime we asked for something . Server never checked back with us regarding refills of beverages. Appetizer plates never cleared off table – anytime staff brought items out they rushed away to avoid being asked any other requests .Customers are on their own here – so….If you are shy and timid bring an outspoken take charge spokesperson with you to get service at this place.The restaurant is clean & food is good.
My wife and I are frequent flyers here and found the food here to be an addiction, seriously.. Have never left unhappy! Thanks guys
Affordable, clean, quiet, friendly. All of these words describe our experience there, but the best part about our visit was the food. Perfect, delicious and more than enough per plate. I’ll be back…
Good Food, poor service. The food is truly delicious and plenty of bang for your buck. I stopped coming here because of the poor service I consistently received from here. We never get drink refills, we’ve had food literally slammed or thrown onto the table and they walk away without even acknowleding us, they take 20 min regularly to bring our bill, never check on us. We did notice that they spend more time with the elderly clientele and would sit behind their little bar and give us dirty looks. I will never be back.
Consistently good Thai food at a reasonable price .One of best in Ft Lauderdale.Excellent service.Great for lunch.
