Been going there for a few years now and been very satisfied each time. I try to pick the specials as they are always great and the staff will change the specials to a salad or sandwich upon request. Love the French onion soup, the fried chicken sandwich, Shrimp sandwich, turkey sandwich, the string french fries and much more. My wife loves the salads (chicken salad). I’ve taken over 20 guests to Mason Jar and they all love it.The new location is very nice and the staff is great as always. If you want a american comfort food this is the place – great food, great staff, great owners.
Reall good home cooking try the Brussels sprouts encrusted with pistachios so good it’s amazing . I chicken pot pie , meatloaf o my .they just moved around the corner. That is not correct that it’s $150.00 for two maybe 22 people, it’s very reasonable. Please check
Great food. We have been several times and everything has been top notch each time…Chicken fried chicken…. incredible…apple walnut salad… oh yeah…i could keep going but you get the picture….
Nice night out. Two couples enjoyed fried green tomatoes (with crab — interesting), duck, salmon, soup and more in the very cozy atmosphere. Tables are close together but it works. Staff very knowledgeable and friendly.
Delicious. Had the meatloaf & was mouth watering. Plus it was a huge slice. Corn spoon bread was a great sweet treat. Staff was also excellent. Will be back. Good home cooking with a twist.
Wonderful. Great service. Great atmosphere. And yummy yummy food. You can hear the laughter of happy people and the yum yum yum coming from the other tables. Will go away full. I will return again an again. Great find. Keep up the great work Paula.
Made my day. I usually visit Fort Lauderdale every few months for maintenance of my bike. I was walking around looking for lunch having quality food. I found it, indeed! The passion they took in just the tea was apparent. They sweeten ever so gently and present it in a clear handled-jar. You can tell it was homemade. My first course was their daily soup, turkey and corn. The soup was chunky , flavorful, and presented on a white, classic cup having character. The soup had wonderful colors and vibrant flavors while the turkey was tender and the corn sweet. Other vegetables were found adding to the depth of the soup. My main course consisted of the shirt rib sandwich. The first bite told my brain I could only finish half the sandwich due to its richness. The sandwich included caramelized onions and Serrano pepper mayo on a kaiser roll. Every bite was delicious and rich. a table next to me ordered one to share! My choice of side included brussel sprouts leaves with pistachios. The sweetness from steaming the sprouts ten sauting it in butter I presume worked very well in making every leaf earthy, sweet and nutty. I paced myself and eventually finished my meal. Service was exceptional as my main server and his teammate ensured I enjoyed the food, my drink was tipped off, and I was comfortable. I’d definitely be back and wouldn’t mind exploring dinner.
