What a great little restaurant! A true class act without the snobbishness. Fantastic service and superior food and plenty of it. I’ve been here with 2 others to a party of 13 same great service
I wanted there to be a current review of this little bistro restaurant. All the earlier positive reviews are accurate, the negative ones are not. Very reasonable, around $20-24 pp for a full meal. Tax and tip extra. Do not miss the tomato soup, rich and delicious with a surprising garnish of bacon and mild blue cheese. The chicken pot pie is one you’ve never seen before, as shown below. The shoestring pommes frites are addictive. Great comfort food, and great service. Take your time and have a great dinner!
Waited over an hour to receive four meals on week night when there were four empty tables. Waitress not only didn’t know the menu, she gave answers that were blatantly untrue. When meals were finally delivered (staggered over five minutes) ravioli was served room temperature, cheeseburger was seriously over cooked, one order of Ernesto Seafood was served warm and one was served straight from the refrigerator Ice cold. Waitstaff was very flustered and the room was exceedingly loud. You had to shout to be heard across a four top table. We have been fans of this restaurant since it was located on Las Olas. We complained to the waitress, senior staff member, and a manager who said she would share our disappointment with the owner. Apparently, the owner didn’t care enough to pick up the phone and talk to us. hIs/her attitude apparently has filtered down to all of the employees and is reflected in their customer service and their meals. So we are done with the Mason Jar.
