Ken Browne pretty much nails it (See review below). Dive bar with a great attitude. Not a single healthy thing on the menu. Asked for something green and they just stared. Service was cordial. Atmosphere is more local crowd thantourist. Get a beer, some chicken strips and hang out. That’s what the place was built for.

Holy!!!!!. Talk about an open air local bar with great food, drinks, amazing staff, music, etc. this place has it all. From the owner Jeff, bartenders Maribeth, Greg, Amanda, Rochelle, Dave, Neil…..they all rock. Plus Ziggy and Dan in the kitchen. Always a great time with all the locals. Gotta love it.

Fish Taco. We were walking up and down the strip when I came across this place; yep its a dive bar but with an attitude. Right from the start you can tell this place is timeworn, where coolers replace refrigerators. When I asked whats good to eat all I got was the beer then I was told the fish tacos and burgers. So thats what we got and the fish tacos were outstanding, everything on it was as fresh as it could be. But something just stood out and when I asked about the fish I was told it was Maui Maui and that explained it all. I was told the burgers were good but not the best ever. So if you do decide to stop in this place and want good food the fish tacos are right on.

Great Dive.. Nice place to kick back and drink some beers as the world turns. Very small place with big picture windows facing the Swimming Hall of Fame and south down the strip. Great Jukebox and the bartenders are not scared to turn the sound up either.Had the conch fritters and they were just ok. The dipping sauce they came with made them taste alot better, but if you ate them without it they had no flavor. But who came here to eat…not me…LOL.One of the things I like best about this place is the bathroom. You have to walk outside past some storage area to use this dingy, small, restroom. I’m not even sure if the door closes….LOL. Great character is what this place has so don’t expect much. Remember to tell them Dan sent you and Stay Hungry!

Nice place. The waitress was really friendly. The beer came fast but there’s no food service on Monday’s! They make up for it with $3 beers though. Normal pricing in Ft. Lauderdale? Crazy.
