Excellent inexpensive Mexican food. Loved the chicken & beef fajitas. Nice local place.
Finally tried this place and was very pleased. Had the Tipico steak which was a great deal for 10 bucks! Beans were authentic and waitress was very friendly and attentive.
The food was delicious . The food was served warm – The staff was friendly 😉
BETTER than La Bamba!. When I think of a great mexican/cuban meal usually one restaurant comes to mind ‘La Bamba’. No longer. Tipico Cafe has better chips. They bring them to the table warm and fresh with delicious homemade salsa. I ordered the pork, black beans and rice with plantains as a lunch special. The pork was flavored perfectly and it practically melted in my mouth. The black beans were authentic with a thick sauce not a water base. The rice was moist and not stale or overcooked. The plantains were sweet and cooked perfect. For $10.00 with drink included and tip. You just can’t beat it!And the service was great! Fast and Friendly…
