I have had some decent meals here mostly consisting of appetizers such as raw oysters, a great pork salad (now off the menu) and the cold lobster. But the last time my wife and I went there it was truly out last time. The main fish course was overlooked and dried out. Shouldn’t be that way, especially at a fish specialty restaurant. We sent it back for a 2nd try and that attempt was overcooked as well. We paid the bill and when I got home a message on my phone from Amex showed a charge 20% higher than my bill was. When I returned to the restaurant to ask why they told me that, as part of the Riverside Hotel, an additional 20% hold was put on my card. What’s up with that?? I have never had a restaurant, connected to a hotel or not, engage in this type of billing practice. I resented it and told them so. They didn’t care. So they have lost a local resident as a customer. And I guess if whatever restaurant comes in after they leave may engage in the same billing practice I will not be eating there either. Too bad.

So I get to restaurant at 3:02 and they won’t serve me, stating they close at 3:00….just wanted a dozen oysters!
Had a surprisingly good experience here for dinner. Service was professional and personable. The dinner muscles portion was quite large served in a tasty garlic aioli sauce with toasted bread. We also tried the trout entree — 2 grilled filet pieces served over grilled zucchini, eggplant, and peppers. Good crusty fresh baked bread. Soda refills. Reasonable wines by the glass list… Glad to see a packed patio on a Tuesday night!
Simply Amazing. Last night my wife and I went to this new restaurant on Las Olas and we heard much about it on social media. We both are seafood lovers and I enjoy fresh oysters. From start to find, we loved this place. We started at the bar and it was still happy hour. We tried their handcrafted cocktails and it was delicious. We ordered an Oyster Sampler and I like the east cost oysters, whereas my wife like some sweeter west coast oysters. When then where seated on their patio, where it was nice to people watch. My wife ordered the grouper and I took a gander at the beef cheeks. We loved the taste of both dishes.Next door at the Golden Lyon was a Motown singer, where we went for after dinner cordials. Several of us were dancing on the sidewalk because this guy was really good.I can highly recommend this restaurant and would give is 5 stars from Service to quality of food.We really like the bartender…I believe her name was Jill or Jilliane,
Outstanding Food. The Wild Sea is not just a restauarant but a Gastronomic Experience.Finding out that it was also completely sustainable makes it more inviting.I was with a group of four and we each ordered something different so we could share. Presentation was exceptional, Preparation of the food was done to perfection and the flavors were amazing. The staff was also very friendly yet professional and knowledgable on all the menu items offerd
Disappointed. My husband and I are locals and have been waiting to try this place out. Service was ok. Not great but not bad either. Friendly enough waiter but was on the slow side. We ordered the small appetizer platter for $49. Oysters were ok but far from the best we have had. Clams were not good. Only ate one and left the rest on the plate. Asparagus salad was tasty but very small for the price. For the main course we had the beef cheeks, which was very good. Problem with our meal was, we really LOVE seafood and the best thing they served was beef.
