Place sucks and the food hasn’t arrived
Great view right on the beach! Laid back atmosphere. Food decent but pretty expensive, probably paying for the location. Live music and a fun little beach bar however!
Overpriced seagull food. Too bad a place like this isn’t a shining star for Ft. Myers Beach. The view is great, but the restaurant could really use an update in the frozen seafood offered and the dcor. A frozen grouper dinner costing $26??? Really. Really? If you have no taste buds and want to go spend a lot of money on mediocre-food-at-best – try Pierside Grill. The Greek restaurant next door has better fish at half the price. Eat food, then go walk on the beach. Much better deal.
Good variety of seafood and and GREAT view of the beach!
We were in a group of 6, which apparently was a problem from the beginning. We got seated and waited for someone to take our order. We ordered two appetizers and drinks. It took 20 minutes to get our drinks and appetizers and then we ordered. We waited another 30 minutes just to get our food. We ate, and the food was really good. We finished and waited 20 minutes for the waitress to just notice that we needed our checks, we were standing up, ready to go at this point. She tried 6 different tries to get our checks right, never did. Then she had us go over to the computer to try to do it, at this point it was another 20 minutes. She couldn’t figure it out, so she took everyone’s money and took my debit card OUT OF MY HAND. She went to another computer in the back and had two other people helping her, handing our money. My boyfriend was pretty upset by this point, so we went to see what they were doing. I asked why it was taking so long and one of the waitresses I had never seen yelled at me and told me that they can’t do 6 different checks, only 3. So apparently it was my fault. We waited and my boyfriend was fuming at this point so he took our money and left. Our 4 friends stayed behind. Another 20 minutes later, they finally gave us our money back, and they were so stupid that they gave my friend $30 extra. In the end, we left 3 hours later, pissed off. The food was great, the service was absolutely terrible. The manager ended up crying because she couldn’t take responsibility for what was going on. The owner doesn’t even live in the state! Absolutely TERRIBLE expierence! Would NEVER recommend this place!
