Good Hotel Restaurant!. JoJo’s is the indoor/upstairs section of Bongo’s Bar at the Pink Shell Resort. We ate there three times while staying at the hotel. My husband had the salmon club twice and the fish & chips and said it was all fantastic. His sandwich had great bread and nice tomatoes. I had the grouper sandwich once, the margherita pizza, and the Rushin’ turkey sandwich – all were great. Sandwiches were all served with a pickle and cole slaw.
Disappointing. The picture of the restaurant doesn’t match what you see when you get there. The restaurant is on top of a really loud bar, with which it shares the menu. The food is disappointing, we’ve eaten downstairs at the bar and in the restaurant and it is just not a culinary achievement by ANY standard. The flatware and glassware is cheap. The kid menus made as binoculars are a really cute idea, and the staff is very nice, so they are making the effort, but the menu, and the setting make the place a true disappointment in the middle of a nice resort.
