The best ever!!. Stopped in without knowing what an amazing and unique spot it is. Absolutely the best bagel sandwich, no make that sandwich, I have ever eaten. My favorite Ft Myers Beach restaurant.
Hands down our NEW FAVORITE Breakfast/Lunch Spot!!! Never did my Son and I imagine we would enjoy a Steamed Bagel Breakfast Sandwich and a Wafel with no Syrup as much as we did!! It was so good that after he ordered the Wafel and I ordered the Sunrise Bagel…we turned around and ordered another round and switched…I had Wafel and he had sandwich, in the same sitting!!! lol From the moment we walked in till the moment we left we felt so welcomed and at home!!! The Staff and Owners treated us and every customer as if we were their family, their favorite customer, their best friend, and the only people in there…which of course we were not, they had a fullhouse, inside and out!!! They have a full stocked Coffee Bar with tons of flavor combos, they have fresh Smoothies made to order…and if you want something custom that’s not on their menu, they make it with a smile!!! You can eat outside and enjoy People watching and the beautiful weather it inside and enjoy all the cool art and funky decorations on the walls, either way, you will NOT be disappointed!!! I am so GLAD to have found this place while spending time at a Friends TimeShare, and EVEN happier that I only live in Port Charlotte, so I CAN enjoy their GREAT FOOD & ATMOSPHERE more then once a year!!!! Thank you Tuckaway Staff for a WONDERFUL FIRST IMPRESSION…we WILL be back and have already spread the word!!! I hope many more will read the reviews and go there…because they may be a Small, ‘Tucked Away’ Little Place…BUT there is NOTHING SMALL, LITTLE OR TUCKED AWAY, when it comes to GREAT FOOD AND GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE at Tuckaway Bagel and Wafel Cafe!!!
Loved the greenpeace bagel, get the horseradish sauce on the side so you can add more to it. Gives your sandwich a kick! Cute business, lovely staff and we didn’t have any issues with lines so maybe some reviewers go on the weekends and we went during the week.
Love this place. Nice quick little breakfast nook. It’s very busy. Go early. You won’t regret it.
I just got coffee, which was very good. Internet worked very well. Sandwiches all looked good though I wish that they had salads for those who cannot eat bread.
So-So. Tolerable choice if nothing else is open (check the nearby Heavenly Biscuit cafe first). Staff is very nice; unfortunately, the food doesn’t quite cut it. Coffee had a funny taste. Waffle was a bit dense and the mango jam was pungent. Bagels were okay at best. If you’re not picky–and I admit I am–then you’ll probably be okay with the food. If you are very particular about your food and know good bagels, either temper your expectations or look elsewhere.
