  Do yourself a favor and eat here. Great service. Wine and beer. You get to watch them make all your food. Homemade mozzarella which was amazing. The Alfredo was to die for. My red sauce was a little salty for my taste but still good. Quaint. Intimate. Great for a date. And do yourself a favor and get the cannoli.

  I am purposefully writing this for my shock of only seeing 2.9 stars. I will eat here at least once a week as long as I live and breathe in Fort Myers. This is not just a place if you want to have the best Italian food in Fort Myers, because it is, but a place to feel like you’re watching a master in a culinary trade which is fading away in today’s fast-food nation. Pull up to the counter and talk to the man who is about to make you taste buds explode with delight. If you go at lunch the person who takes your order is his wife, whose responsible for the feeling of belonging even from your first visit. There is nothing bad on the menu and his lunch specials are not just typically the prior dinners redux to save their costs. They make specials because they want their customers to feel that after ordering it they are given a glimpse into an Italian catalog from the chef’s childhood. The Thursday special of chicken francaise is amazing, a meal that makes you say TGIT. The meatball hero is made with a generational recipe that makes you know why Italian grandmother’s say it’s a secret when you ask how to make it. The real secret in the food is not just the fresh ingredients, but the love in the environment and the chef’s attention to you plate prior to service. His enjoyment to cook these dishes flows through him to your plate with every flick of the pan and sprinkle of parsley, and that is the hidden secret to this restaurant. This is the type of restaurant that no matter how bad my day is going the food and the service changes my mood and puts a smile on my face. Don’t go here, run here.

  Should I tell. This is one of those places you don’t want to share because it is so good. Bruno is a fantastic chef. Try the lasagne and the sausage and peppers (get with both hot and sweet sausage) and the chicken picatta is wonderful
