Good Grub. I eat at Gwendolyn’s Cafe several times a month. I have tried several different dishes both breakfast and lunch. Each and every time the food has been delicious. I also visited the restaurant once before going into work on my late shift at 12 p.m. and I really admired the appearance and the atmosphere of the cafe style setting. Ordinarially we have lunch delivered to my job and Im stuck on the Splendid Chicken dish which is very fullfilling. But on my more light days the Classic Chicken salad or the Trio salad is the way I choose to go. .
Amazing Food + Great Staff = GC. I regularly eat lunch here, and always have a great meal. I even have to walk a few blocks to get there, which is another bonus (:

Closed ????. I was told by the deli on Hendry street that this placed closed down….is it true???
Quality with Charm. We were fortunate to find Gwendolyn’s while on vacation in Ft. Myers. Similar to Eddison and Ford’s early1900 summer homes, Gwendolyn’s is a must visit. The breakfast was a real break from the typical chain restaurants and the biscuits and gravy were to die for. Gwen’s knowledge and love of Ft. Myers comes through loud and clear. Like the historical homes nearby the lovely restaurant is sure to become a permanent landmark.
Delicious!. Gwendolyn’s Cafe is a fun, friendly, atmosphere with a great selection of breakfast and lunch items! My Personal favorite would be the Seafood salad sandwich. It is the only Cafe my son and I regularly visit, and it is WELL worth it! Affordability is something everyone needs in this tough economy, and at Gwen’s Cafe the price and the taste are just RIGHT! I highly recommend this cafe!
