    Terrible service. I have been to this restaurant twice and it has the worst customer service, is expensive and rude, unprofessional people who work there. Even with reservations, 1/12 hour wait, the second time I went we left after waiting 1 hour, the hostess told us it would be at least another hour and this was at 10:00pm! They close at 11, so I’m sure the chef wouldn’t have even come to the table in time and we would have been kicked out. Everyone who works there had a bad uncaring,unfriendly attitude and expect a long wait even if you have reservations! I won’t go back ever.

    Be careful what you order. Ordered a split meal and when the bill came we were charged for 2 meals. Last time we came two couples that were at the same table that didn’t know each other were not allowed to use a Groupon because they were accused of being together.

    Just don’t do it – save your money. Went to Kumo tonight. Bad choice. Horrible cook and even worse management. Ordered filet and was served steak. Ordered medium was cooked well. Cook tried to fix by making another filet but was cold in the middle. People on other side of the table-served our filet. Guess what we have to pay for filet and they do not. No biggie. Don’t expect them to pay for it. Speak with management about it and they go over to the other people and tell them we think they should pay for our filets. Result? They get pissed at us. Seriously???? So we pay the check-fine. When we leave I see manager and express my anger about her involving the other guests and ask who is above her. She states well you can email him bc he doesn’t take calls from customers. She then tells me we are trying to get double meat for free. Which I then tell her I can’t believe she’s in customer service. She then tells me to email her superior bc hes not in customer service either. I then tell her she’s a horrible manager. Her response – wait for it – Whatever. Never returning there. We will make the trip to Osaka.

    We love Japanese steakhouses and the food was very good; however, the staff was extremely rude (with exception of our Hibachi chef). Our waitress processed our groupon with our check and then came back to inform us it could not be used because another couple had already used the groupon toward their bill. We left with a redeemed groupon and paying twice what we had expected because they weren’t willing to correct the mistake. Not cool.

    Very good!. Went to Kumo for the first time this past week. We loved it! Greeted very friendly, seated and ordered quickly, food was great, very tasty. Would highly recommend.
