If i could give this place a lower rating I would. I had hear that this place was a corner spot with great food and friendly staff. NOT! my work mates and I ordered food to go. Lunch time downtown is busy, so we paid for it and left. Only to discover all we had was toast. YES, TOAST! the few solid items that we did get, was chicken Cuban which consisted of 1oz chicken breast and what looked like 1/2 of a loaf of Cuban bread and grease.Want good food? STAY AWAY FROM THIS JOINT! It has to be a front for something more considering how much they seem to care about service. THEY DON’T.
Expected more than what I got. Friend highly recommended this restaurant for breakfast. As he raved about the roasted chicken on the Tuesday menu I thought I would try it at 10 AM. The chicken leg was very tiny with no skin and dry. The sides of yellow rice and black beans were both full of flavor. Best part of meal was the coffee. Also sold cigars at the counter were cigars that had been recently rolled so I bought five small thin ones. Prices were right for a $ rated restaurant. I will not make an effort to return as this sampling was enough.
