Great Food, Great Service and Great Atmosphere = A great time had by all. The missus and I gave the rehearsal dinner for our daughters wedding at the Twisted Vine. We were not surprised by the level of service and the quality of the food. We had been there before. We reserved the courtyard [highly recommended] as it was the perfect size for the number in our party. The food was delicious as it was beautifully presented. The attendants were courteous, clean and quick. The wines recommended by Steve are always spot-on pairings. The scallops and forbidden rice were absolutely divine. It really could not have been better. Well, maybe with some fireworks. Maybe next time. And there will be a next time.J.C. & Sandy Collier

Attractive environment, pretty courtyard. Busy holiday evening, food took 1 1/2 hours to come. Reasonably good waiter service. Wine selection great but very pricy. Pot roast grilled cheese appetizer is to die for. Filet was chewy, sides were cold, Expected more from a high end kitchen on that. Overall favorable experience & good option for downtown. Hopefully the food was just due to the extremely busy night. Will try again.
LOVEEE. Found this place during a girls night for cocktails and fell in love! Love their calamari and their lobster mac and cheese. Get the salmon too for the main course!!Also, got to host my small wedding in their patio. It was utterly romantic and magical. Denise and Steve were awesome to work with and VERY helpful through the whole process. So excited to find this gem!
Priced Over The Top. This was one of our favorite resturarant in down town Fort Myers. We visited the Twisted Vine and going the the Theater on Saturday 11/2/2013. We had not been here in several months. The prices have gone up and are over the top vs. what you get for the price. I had Shrimp and Grits, $28.00, what I got was 5 shrimp, grits that was swimming in too much sauce. Also noticed a Filet Mignon was priced at $35.00 with no indication of the size, is it 6 oz., 8 oz.??Our Conclusion:There are loads of great restaurants in Fort Myers with equal or better food at more moderate prices. It would seem to me that the management needs a wake up call. The food is good but not great. The menu is limited and over priced. Maybe the Snowbirds will support this restaurant but not the locals. I am a local and will not go back.
