Great Valentine’s Celebration at Wisteria!. I’m so glad I decided to surprise my husband with Wisteria’s Special Valentine’s Day Tea event last evening. Everything was thoughtfully prepared with candles and fresh rose petals dotted around the restaurant; romantic piano music tastefully playing in a corner, and fine china tea cups and saucers included on each table. The food was amazingly delectable and tastefully presented from the unlimited hot teas, to the delicious soup and salad starter, ending with the most impressive 3 tiered platter of eye catching, savory and sweet, mouth watering morsels. Emily, our sever, was sweetly attentive throughout the evening. This is the second special event I’ve attended at Wisteria and have been to lunch on numerous occasions. I’ve never once been disappointed with the service or the food and look forward to returning for another enjoyable lunch date! I can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough!

Lovely Tea & Lunch. I just HAD to come here on vacation because 1. this restaurant got 100% in feedback thus far and 2. I love tea! It is recommended before arriving to call in advance and reserve yourself a spot. When we arrived, at the character house-turned-teahouse, we only had a 5 minute wait ahead of us, which we spent browsing the tiny gift shop full of all the teas they carry and other unique items. The tea menu is much larger than the food menu, but all of the food offered (soups, salads, sandwiches primarily) sounded pretty tasty. Tea is $3.50 per person unlimited and once you are finished one pot, you can move on to another to try some of the different flavors. We started with a black tea flavored with chocolate mint, which was rich and satisfying. After lunch we tried the Berry Blast, which tastes like fruit punch–no added sugar necessary, very bright and bold in flavor. For lunch I had the soup/salad/scone combo ($10), but I substituted the soup for the chickpea salad, which reminded me of a Greek salad, including black olives, feta, and tomato. The main salad was the house salad, which consisted of spring mix, feta, craisins, candied pecans, and tomatoes. You have 4 dressing choices and I went with the Champagne Vinaigrette. The salad was extremely delicious. For my scone I opted for the sweet variety (White Chocolate Cranberry) and added devonshire cream ($1), which they make in house. It was amazing. Not too sweet, not super rich–just perfect. My bf had the Roast Beef Sandwich, which was thickly piled with lots of meat and came with a tasty Chicken Rice soup and kettle chips. We were too full after our tea and meals for any dessert. Our server was Darlene and she provided excellent service during our visit. Will definitely return next time I am in Fort Myers.

Great for any occassion…Outstanding. My wife and I had a wonderful time again the Wisteria Tea Room and Cafe. Every time we visit is outstanding. The staff are excellent. The service excellent. When you have a passion for something, you pour your heart into it. That is exactly what owners Bobbie and Phil have done. My wife and I have visited many tea rooms during our travels, and Wisteria is tops. The menu selection is excellent. I love the more hardy selections that accommodate the more robust eaters like myself…Phils idea. The tea selections is beyond compare. My wifes favorite…The Royal Tea. Also the, Raspberry-Jalapeno jam from the gift shop is awesome on a turkey panini or even a peanut butter sandwich. I know it sounds weird, but it is really good. To all the guys out there. Give your sweetheart a real treat and take her to the Wisteria Tea Room and Cafe. After all, she follows you to the sports bars and chicken wing places all the time. Ladies, feel free to show this post to the man in your life. Steve C.

I always love family owned restaurants. This one is no different. Unfortunately, I don’t drink tea, but the mutual feeling at the table said that everyone enjoyed the MASSIVE variety. Also, the pots are bottomless, so you can try as many favors as you like. The food was also very good. Overall a great little place for brunch.
