Had an unbelievable lunch at 12A Buoy today in Fort Pierce, FL. We had an outstanding waitress by the name of Stella. She walked us through a delectable lunch of clams casino, oystersRockefeller, lobster bisque, and a lobster club sandwich. A few Stella Atois on the side, and we were in heaven. Everyone knows that a server makes or breaks a meal. We couldn’t have had a better afternoon and the food was to die for. Hats off and a big Thank you to Stella and everyone at the 12A Buoy from the folks visiting from Erie, Pa. See you all soon. Betty and Mike Alexa
This had been recommended by friends, and not what I expected. The food was good the service was a mix of pushy and slow. The food came out quickly, we were 1/2 way through our appetizers when the main coarse came out, so we felt rushed. The beverage orders were extremely slow. The ambiance is very casual borderline dive, but the prices are closer to fine dining. We ate inside and got eaten alive by sand fleas. Maybe it was just a bad experience and not the norm. Please consider other reviews.
I was so excited to try this place out. I ordered the black and blue steak medium and had to send it back 3 times for them to get the temperature correct on it, because I received it rare. It took so long for them to reheat it 3 times (which by the way made the steak really nasty) that my husband was done with his dinner and I ended up having to take mine to go because we were sitting there so long. The manager seemed annoyed that I was upset. My husband had the lobster and steak his was cook medium and he ordered his rare, also his lobster was mushy (he didn’t complain though). All together awful experience especially for the money we spent.
