60 minute wait to receive my food during the lunch rush! They weren’t even that busy. I ordered the chicken burger which was very good but my entire lunch time was wasted looking at the kitchen to determine when my lunch would come out. Everyone had to wait a long time for their meal. I’m lucky that I do not punch a clock for lunch. If so, I would have been in big trouble. Unacceptable. I want those 90mins back that I spent at 2nd St Bistro. C’mon guys!! Tighten up!Update: Just learned about 10 minutes ago they fired their entire line cook team on Memorial Day and trained a new group the same day!!! That does not excuse the absolute horrible service at all.
Great Food and Atmosphere. I have been there many times. The atmosphere and food are both awesome. Love all the old signage and memorabilia around the place. Fries are excellent, burgers are huge. Portions large enough to share. The service as a rule has been very good. Since I have been there over a dozen times, there have been times when the service could have been better, and other times when it was excellent. For those who reviewed about slow service one time, you should try it again. One bad server doesn’t mean all bad servers.
Great food but terrible service. I dont recommend going for a quick bite to eat..the whole process is slow. From finally getting the drink order to chasing down your waitress for the check. Just wish they would train servers better.
It’s a cool atmosphere,They put a ton of work into this place.Its full of old signs,and random pieces of memorabilia,and the food I have had so far is good.The management is super friendly,and they have an amazing beer selection.My 1 recommendation would be to find a better place thats outta view of the customers for your employees to smoke
Five tries and we’re done. Second Street Bistro has a lot of potential. They are in a GREAT location and their menu is unique to the area however the service is nothing short of awful. The food is mediocre at best. If the food were as tasty as the menu let’s on it would be a great thing. On one occasion there was a piece of plastic in the food. On three occasions the service was SLOW, with us waiting over an hour for lunch to be served. On another occasion, my companion and I waited 15 minutes after we were seated and never saw a server. Finally, the last effort was on a Friday night. The band started at 7 and the acoustics are so bad in there that we couldn’t enjoy either the music or conversation. When discussing the poor service with the owner, he suggested that we come back on a night that is not so busy. Regarding the plastic in the food, NOTHING was done. No chef visit or owner visit to the table.
Great Service!!!!!!. Love the food and the atmosphere.. Veronica is an awesome bartender, her service is excellent even when she is super busy. Can’t wait to come back. Definitely will recommend this place to friends and family.
Last Saturday, we decided to try this new addition to the downtown Fort Pierce scene. We couldn’t have had a better time. Our waitress, Holly, was so completely on top of everything. She recommended the catch of the day and the 1/2 rack of ribs. Both were perfectly cooked! Plus, they have a great selection of beers! It was a perfect night out! We will definitely be back again and again.
