Dirty Diner. We were looking for a quick breakfast before we started our busy Friday. We looked online and found Dave’s Diner. At first glance it looks like a greasy spoon…outside and inside…laid out like a Waffel House. If you go by appearance…you won’t eat here. The place is not as clean as it should be for an eatery,unfortunately our booth had a very clear visual path to the nasty garbage can sitting at the end of the grill. We ordered two breakfast sandwiches: Ham, Egg and Cheese on a Kaiser roll and Country Ham , Egg and Cheese on Sourdough. Surprisingly the meal was well prepared just incorrect. The bun was not Kaiser, the bread was not sourdough and the ham was pretty far from country but it was served hot, after a 30 min wait. So, if you can over look the lack of cleanliness…try Dave’s Diner.

COMFORT FOOD AT ITS FINEST. Recently visited family in your area–where can you get a real home cooked meal for the prices Dave’s Diner serves? Gracious service by waitresses, spotless, quality excellent, prepared perfectly..outside dining as well…conveniently located. What a jewel of a little eaterie found on Ft Pierce Island! Will order a gift certificate for family for Christmas!
Diner food done right, simple as that. Service is great and provided with a smile
