Great Pizza! Hometown feel. I have been going to Expresso’s on and off for the last 7 years. I can say the family that owns this restaurant is wonderful. They have friendly service, reasonable prices and a great product! I mostly eat their pizza’s and I have to say it is great, New York style pizza, with very good sauce and the right crust. I like their soup and salad as well. If you haven’t tried this place give it a try! It is an older building so the atmosphere is lacking but if you are looking for a place to stop and take home dinner this one should be on the top of your list!

Beware the Eggplant. Oh my goodness. I had such a craving for an eggplant parmigiana sub for lunch. I usually go to Votino’s but since their menu is limited and they do not serve eggplant, I gave Expresso Pizza a try. They have an extensive Italian menu. Before ordering I called to inquire if they peel their eggplant. The skin is bitter and I hate when restaurants are too lazy to peel them. The lovely woman that answered assured me that they do peel their eggplant. However, she failed to tell me until I was paying that they do not fry, they bake their eggplant. This was the worst eggplant I have ever eaten. Mushy, and stringy. Yuck. The woman at the register was a sweet elderly woman. Probably the owner. I would try something else there only because of how pleasant she was, but I would never get the eggplant again. The dining room was cluttered and dusty so take out would be the best, if you want to give them a try. I can only comment on the eggplant, and I would not recommend that at all. Take your chances here.
